I like Magee...reminds me of Stevan Ridley. I love that we are so deep at RB that we are complaining about stuff like this. Regardless of who we start, they will lay a hurtin on Auburn.

Anyone who sets the Louisiana state record for rushing yards in HS needs more reps, in my opinion. That is quite an accomplishment when you consider some of the freaks this state has put out at that position.

Absolutely, I was shocked when they moved him to FB, but they did.

I think Ford has 22 carries for 135 yds. He is explosive and due for a game where he is the main back.

Hilliard could be a powerful tailback between the tackles. I hope he has practiced some there. And Shepard is one of the best running backs we have running the sweep since Charles Alexander. I won't mind seeing each of them get more carries this week.

That wasn't his FB page. It was a fake one.

That's why the thread was whacked, thank God.

    He's a hybrid for sure.

We've watched the few times he carried the ball, definitely doesn't plod like a big fat fullback. He can run.

    What now?

Alexander couldn't run the sweep or Shepard can't.

hilliard is receiving the same opportunity as hester, scott, and ridley had before their time as the feature back. playing/practicing fullback can be an important lesson in setting up your blocks, being patient, and understanding where your lanes and cutback lanes will be when you are the one toting the rock around. i think he's in fairly good company in that regard.
