even though we took the L, I still think this team has a chance to be very good. The freshman didnt look to great at times(esp. the first half) but i expected that for the first game. Def. need lloreda in the game, he would have made a big difference.........but all in all not bad of a game. I expect big improvments come next game. All i wanna know is Y IN THE HELL DID CHARLIE NOT GET IN THE GAME!
I go saltwater fishing on occasion. Great opportunity to put some filets in the freezer. When the conditions are right you can often catch 2 specks on one cast. And, there's nothing more fun than tangling with big a$$, hungry redfish. As far as the appeal of bass fishing? My only response is that it's called "fishing" ,not "catching".
I used to do that in Lafitte. Crossed The Pen and fished the Blue Point canals with a beetle spin. On one trip I'd catch bass (green trout to the yats), redfish, flounder and sacalait.
I went to Venice one time and I caught nothing but redfish while my brother caught nothing but bass fishing in the same boat with the same baits in the same spots.
Kiss my bass. I was listening to what passes for sports talk radio in Lafayette and a couple of callers were complaining that this recruiting class was supposed to be #1 and how in hell could they lose an exhibition game? Please.
Check this out BengalB. It's one of the funniest things I've ever read: http://www.fieldandstream.com/fieldstream/columnists/article/0,13199,476108,00.html
coaching Doesn't matter how many number one classes a coach has, he still has to coach them. That is LSU's weakness.
Yogi Berra could have said some of those things. And I always wondered if Bill Dance had a trained bass that he keeps catching over and over.
