Glad Riser lost. They tried to pull a fast one and shoehorn him in. I met McAllister and spoke with him for about 5 minutes. Seems like a good dude doing it for the right reasons. He got my vote.
He seems like an ok guy, I just don't get him. I'm tired of all the Obamacare stuff. It's gotten old, stop trying to repeal it, make it better.
I actually watched a debate between Riser and McAllister on LPB one night, and this was exactly McAllister's position. I didn't have a dog in the fight as that's not my district, but he, by far, seemed to be the best candidate. He definitely seemed to be more of the type of candidate that the republican party, as a whole, should support more frequently. Not an extremist or an obstructionist, but someone who is willing to accept the way that things are and work within that construct.
