Almost all of the guys here are Miles critics. Over time, the Miles supporters have left the board; in fact, there was a mass exodus a few years ago and a new board was created. @red55 left last year, and that's a shame because he was a truly great poster, and I think most people miss him. I was a big Miles supporter all the way up to last November, but I don't have a lot of faith (or any) at this point. Things have gone far south since 1/9/12, and it looks as if nothing is going to right that ship now. Prior to last season, even, after the '14 disappointing season, I said that I was no longer supporting Miles if he didn't win the West last year; he didn't. That still stands. If he can't win the West with the talent he has (and he won't), he can never win it again. After seeing the Alabama score (I watched much of the first half, and Bama looked pedestrian for that), I see that they got their butts in gear in the second half and kicked USC's ass--with a freshman QB. they had two first year qbs who performed well but already have a star in the making with Hurts. This dude is the opposite of what we have. Hes calm cool and collected right out the gate. We shit ourselves at the thought of anything but toss dive to fournette. Hurts threw for 2 and ran for 2. Other guy was 5/6 with a passing td himself. Also USCs O-line is legit and bamas d-line dominated them. thats where we began to fall out the picture--not recruiting better d-linemen and depth at the position. Its killed miles hide the qb strategy. Cant blame the draft every year. His recruiting has failed him.
Great post @StaceyO With that said, I dont think there are any miles "haters" just those that see it for what it is. Saying he isn't getting it done or that he runs an antiquated offense does not and never was meant to imply that I or anyone else who says those things either hate LSU or want LSU to lose. It just means that we are able to see through the bullshit of beating the lesser teams but struggle or lose repeatedly to those we are "supposed" to be on the same level with. I wish @red55 would come back but I think even he sees it and can't bear the embarrassment of showing his face.
i dont really mince words so never understood the need for one either. although one dude is always talking to himself as the entire board ignores him so it would make since there.
