the original Star Trek I now find mostly unwatchable, the other 4 series I like a lot,.. I didn't give Deep space 9 a fair chance until I watched it on netflix, it really grew on me,.. 7 of 9's talents were obvious, but Voyager also had a lot of borg episodes,.. best villains ever
Exactly how I feel. I got into the original series when I was younger, but now there are only a handful of episodes that I like. I used to think TNG was the best series of the franchise, until I actually gave DS9 a shot. I used to think it would be boring and almost quit watching during S1, but I'm glad I stuck with it because it ended up becoming my favorite. And, although it's about 3rd on the list behind 1)DS9 and 2)TNG, I enjoy watching VOY.
I thought Next Generation was the best TV sci-fi ever produced until the reboot of Battlestar Galactica came out.
