Hopefully he will find a job where he doesn't have to worry about being attacked by a gang of thugs. Yes, that's right I used the T word.
Probably the best thing. I don't think he has the right temperament for the job.I can understand the situation MAY have required SOME amping up to control the crowd but he was definitely overboard, overall.
No, just informing. I take no joy in someone losing their job, except politicians maybe and judges. He made a bad choice, maybe it's training maybe it's something more, I'm not sure. I wish him the best, at the end of the day he still served overseas and I respect him for that.
You know what I'm thinking here, right? "He made a bad choice"...."I take no joy in someone losing their job"......but he's not 14, is he?
Sure.....but an adult with a temper and armed with a gun. I can't just go with "he made a bad choice".
Watch the video again, you can clearly see his friend bump him and he slips then the cop pulls his piece because you know they will shoot dogs, shoot people, shoot whatever the hell they want. I don't know the policeman, or former policeman, I don't know what his intentions were, if they were malicious or racially fueled, they could be, I don't see any evidence to prove that, I do though see why the McKinney police Chief made the call he did though. 1. You don't want the media shit storm to be worse 2. The thin blue line is great, but cops that behave this way make the police look worse. Like I said he could have been just been having a bad day but a guy with a gun that has a bad day can do a lot of damage. By the way, he gets to keep his pension also and can probably go work for another town's police force.
