The security guard information was in 2 different articles from 2 different sources that I read, not something I made up. I was not talking about the cops. I havent mounted one defense about how the kids acted. While you are assuming, it would be reasonable to assume, since I agreed with LSUPrides' comment that people should just comply with police officers during an encounter, that I was talking about these kids as well. But carry on, put words into my mouth while ignoring other comments I made.
No. Neither do felons who the police are charged with keeping under control. Yet three of the officers charged had nothing to do with the fatal abuse of the prisoner that happened at one of the van stops. The arresting officers are being treated like they were guilty of it as well. It has led to a slowdown of arrests and patrols by the police who don't know what they're supposed to do anymore. And the felons are enjoying their holiday. The mayor allows them room for destruction you know. What I'm suggesting is that there is a flip side of all coins. Reining in police misconduct should not be done so as to inhibit police doing their jobs. And the public has a responsibility to conduct itself properly just as do the police.
I can't read you mind. I commented on what you actually said and what was linked here. I didn't say you made anything up. I just said you said it. Other than to say that the fight was started by someone else and that it was just a pool party and not a disturbance. I have done neither. I quoted your title and your comments. I read all your comments. I only commented on the ones that I had something to say about.
How come no one is blaming police unions? I mean if unions are bad why aren't police unions? They are the ones who defend everything every cop does regardless of the law.
Fair question. Like any other organization they tend to protect their own first. Policing the police has always been a tough task. Today with the "us against them" attitude that seems to be growing the union will defend all first.
The cop definitely overreacted but I believe he was justified in drawing his weapon. That punk came and set up to tee off on him. With at least one of the handcuffed males, I could hear sincerity and he seemed to be someone with manners- definitely didn't need to be cuffed cause he was pleading to cooperate. As for those sheila's whoopin and hollerin, bitches be bitches.
Because it goes against the AL Sharpton it's honky's fault narrative that race baiters wake up in the morning screaming.
