I'll be like a Democrat and answer with a few questions of my own. 1) What qualifies Al Gore to be an expert in Global Warming? 2) What qualifies Al Frankin to be an expert in politics? I just love it how Hollywood and actors always turn out to be experts for all kinds of things. 3) What qualifies Ted Kennedy to be a senator for all these years?
I have no interest in reading anything by Coulter, as she's clearly a hack that is making millions from sensationalism. However, I do like to see the results of her "work," since I always find it funny when people get so bent out of shape over WORDS, regardless of who's speaking them.
My wife bought me the book for Father's Day and she isn't spewing anything that the left hasn't spewed at Bush or conservatives. I find the book thoughtful and filled with fact-based conclusions. Very good read. 2 thumbs up!
Masters of the art. Michael Moore has mastered controversy in film, Limbaugh has done it in radio and Coulter has done it in books. I ain't sure who the reining television controversialist is since Geraldo burned out years ago. O'Reilly maybe.
I cannot stomach to watch O'Reilly. That guy is so daft........you can just tell it. He is not a good interviewer. We watch Hannity and Colmes off and on......but man, my fav was Crossfire with Pat Buchanan and Mike Kinsley in the old days. Both were pretty sharp.
Who said it, Hitler or Coulter? http://www.people.virginia.edu/~jac3he/GiveUpQuiz/hitlercoulterquiz.html
Indeed. They were good. Also, back in the 70's, 60 Minutes had a closing segment called Point/Counterpoint with Shana Alexander and James J. Kilpatrick. Both were articulate and often hurled thinly veiled shots at each other in their limited time. But they got replaced by Andy Rooney. SNL did a great running parody of Point/Counterpoint with Dan Ackroyd and Jane Curtain on Weekend Update. Whenever Jane would score a really great point, Dan would open his counterpoint with "Jane, you ignorant slut . . . "
