I'd be thrilled, then po'd it took so long to get there. I've seen a few comments in the Lexington paper that LSU should be a legitimate threat to UK and Florida next season. The talent is definitely there, it becomes a question of having the team play as unit, avoid the brain cramps that flared up last season. Hard to deal with free agents (most top programs have nothing but free agents on their teams) and 18-22 year old kids these days. Article does show how sad things are today when crimes like these were committed and if they win, who cares.
we do have problems defending the perimeter, but i agree with mcmikel about pressure d will solve a lot of that i'm surprised by katz's comments. i'd think we need several new players to step up big for us to be better than just competitive. hope tasmin is the real deal, and quick. the team will need someone else to get points and rebounds. id feel a helluva lot better about the team if neltner was still on it.
