This whole thing stinks. The guy obviously has his issues, still no one deserves a kick in the head. Especially when they're offering no resistance and on the ground. My question is what benefit does the guy have for coming after JJ if JJ didn't kick him in the head? I'm sorry but I'm not going to blame someone else for kicking me in the head, I'm going to blame the person that does it. It's obvious from the video that there's some type of kick to the upper body / head and that person SHOULD be punished. I don't know enough about the situation to say WHO did it, but I know this, BRPD has a lot of crap on their hands with this. You have a victim that is obviously a train wreck, and you have the starting QB for the college team being indicated. How can you believe anyone's testimony? Plenty of people are going to lie just to make sure JJ doesn't get in trouble because of who he is.
Not too many do when under oath and subject to perjury charges. If enough witnesses testify, the truth is going to come out. This could fall apart quickly in front of a Grand Jury if the independent witnesses don't back the alleged victims story.
Any man who is abusive towards a woman deserves much more than being kicked in the head, I don't care if he's on the ground or in the dead cockroach position, pathetic pieces of garbage like that get zero sympothy from me..
Well, flame away, but there are no rules in a street fight. People get kicked a lot in a deadly fight. Clubs, bottles, and knives can get pulled.
Sure they do...and EVERY day. If not there'd be way less cases even taken to court to begin with. Attorneys even pay people to lie. They call them "hired guns", aka, "experts." Though these are arguably "lying" there are many many "normal" people who take the stand daily and lie their azzes off. Find the ones who don't lie, they're the rarities.
I had thought that it was the truck driver dude that got the broken neck from being kicked and the marine had just got his asz kicked. I can tell you from experience that a broken neck frekin sucks. I had to wear a halo brace because of my broken neck for almost five months then a hard collar neck brace for four months followed by a soft collar neck brace for another four months after that. If this marine really broke his neck he should have a collar on at the very least. I think it was the truck driver with the broke neck. I may be wrong here. I often am. I know about broken necks though. I broke c2 and still suffer like a mudderflopper from it to this day.
