I'd go after Mariucci... I think he will step back down to the college ranks and become someone's pete carroll.

Rumor has it that Jimmy Sexton is shopping Nick Saban around once again since he does it every single year. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: I think we'd take him back.

You telling me, you wouldn't take Saban back in a second ? (not that it would happen)

Don't get me wrong. I thought Saban was one hell of a coach and I HATED to see him leave.

Having said that, I see no need to fire Miles to bring him back. NOW, should MIles go to Michigan, I would not be against Saban coming back. I would have a HUGE buyout clause in his contract next time around though.:thumb:

That would be going backwards, not forward.

Let's look at the nuts and bolts of it all: How much pull does Bo still have in those parts?

Sure, he goes to all the games and such, but does Schembechler have any direct or real influence at UM anymore?

I mean, for a long time, Darrell Royal didn't do or mean crap at Texas--until Mack brought him back into the inner circle, that is.

Les is most definitely Bo's boy, so if Bo's pull isn't all that in Ann Arbor, then Bo's suggestion isn't an end all-be all.

If Carr goes...who does that leave for UM?

Here's one UM fan's take on the matter:

Won't happen, of course...but if it should:

-Butch Davis is looking for work

-It'll never get any better for Pat Hill at Fresno St.

-It really is time someone legit gave Mike Price another chance

Pat Hill is one of my favorite coaches in the NCAA. Love his attitude and philosophy. Line em up, go balls out for 60, see what happens.
