What about Flynn? Flynn is ahead of RP on the depth chart, so shouldn't we get Flynn some PT first.......If RP got any PT this season it will just be handing the ball off, and to me that PT is really not helpful. SAVE RP!!!! and like clair said.....new topic please. I'll start...."WHATS UP WITH OUR DEFENSE?" :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
I did not mean that he would be gone this year. I just feel that he will not be at LSU for 5 years so no need to redshirt him.
what difference does it make? at least by redshirting him, you have the possibility of it happening... Listen, he has said to me openly several times, that he didn't have any expectations at all his freshman year, and that whatever happened, he would go with it...
So you are saying there is no chance that he would be injured in the future? What if he were redshirted and then after 2 games his junior season he had a season ending injury? Wouldn't it be better that he could come back for his senior year instead of not having any eligibility left? Or if he had that injury his redshirt soph. year, he would then still get to play at least 2 full years in order to prove himself and gain experinece. Not to mention the fact that not even RP can be certain he will be successful enough to leave after 3 or 4 years.
1. P-loo doesn't need experience because he isn't #2, Flynn is #2. You will see Flynn before you see P-loo. 2. He leaves if he's redshirted? Your source? If he leaves because of a redshirt then he didn't need to be here anyway. P-loo is a team guy, he'll be fine. 3. The situation with Bomar and choke-lahoma is irrelevant, apples and oranges. 4. Future star? Josh Booty was a future star, Todd Marinovich was a future star, hell, I was a future star for that matter :yelwink2:. We'll know when P-loo is needed: right after Flynn trots onto the field and Russell is carted off.
