How terrible. He walks with a limp and pain the rest of his life and fans are already bashing him for not giving his other leg. He comes to LSU and fans are cheering. He further impresses the drooling masses at fan day, then he is injured. He works his butt off enduring the frustration of seeing little improvement yet the swelling and pain persist. Maybe he is still not back to his to the level he was as a freshman and he can't take the constant drugery to improve any longer.
While he was here he never once, to my knowledge, did anything to embarass the University, fans, or himself. In addition, if he can't contribute, he did LSU a favor by not holding a scholarship. You have no idea why he left so until we do, give him a break until we know the truth.

Rumor has it that he left by plane....but who knows, it could have easily been via car or train.

Given the choice, I am sure Amp would love to turn back time and fill those three years with receptions and touchdowns instead of rehab and pain killers. Given the circumstances of his LSU career I just wish him all the best and hope he has no permanent pain or limping with his leg.

He first and foremost wanted to be a Tiger before things turned out the unfortunate way they did. Thats enough for me.

This is bound to happen when a team is deep. It happened to running backs last year when Edwards transferred over playing time. It happened the year before that when three quarterbacks left. This year we are deep in wide receivers. Guys that can play will only sit the bench for so long before they find greener pastures.

Hill hasn't quit. He'll turn up on some Florida team next year.

We will likely lose a quarterback next spring for the same reason. Transfers are a malady of deep teams and it cannot be helped.

Sometimes things just dont work out for players. Guys these are kids still and i dont think that the posibility of him coming back is out of the question. A free education is not something to sneeze at and if he is injured forever it is not likely he makes it to the NFL.

Come back and get your degree amp and give it your best.

If not then i wish you best of luck in whatever you do.

seems like a strange time to quit if its because of pt. id guess its more because of his frustration and he blew up at clm. i would have been surprised if he hadnt gotten AMPle opportunities to impress this year.
