personally him being a pill head is really the only thing i like about the guy. I just like to take jabs at him because he is a hypocrite. I didn't mean to associate all conservatives with Rush, and if i did, i apologize. I do not get my news from Rush, nor do i get it from MSNBC. If i want news i will get it online from huffington, cnn, or associated press. I know huffington is a democrat but she is fair.

But back to Krypto, Rush has been the voice of the Republican party, the voice of the South, whether anyone likes it or not. His show is syndicated all over the south and a whole hell of a lot of people i know listen to him. You can tell where ignorant republicans making ignorant arguments are getting their information from. Just like when Bush was in office, you could tell where ignorant democrats were getting their info from, Keith Olberman or Bill Maher. Both parties are full of sh!t, i agree with both of you on that one.

I agree and think this is what MOST people want. The media takes a few examples and portrays them as the norm.

I also would like to see this Congress adopt their health care plan and apply it to themselves as well. Of course, they won't.

Is anybody watching this "town hall" aka "propaganda" speech? Here we go again....it's the evil rich comments again.

We've also already heard...the stimulus money (of which only 1/6 has been spent) is working.

In the first two minutes, we've already heard how unemployed are getting extended benefits. No mention of the number of unemployed since he took office. :nope:

I would just like open, honest dialogue without the constant head-pivoting reading from the teleprompters.

He just nailed the health care administration but didn't say much about the government administration. (Like this Congress is more credible or trustworthy than private industry. :nope:)

..."nobody holds the insurance companies accountable..." (How about holding Congress accountable?)

I'm still not hearing anything new. It doesn't appear he has been listening to anyone. He's simply calling the opponents trouble-makers and thinking his charm will persuade people to support him.

On to the questions...let's hope they're not staged like usual.

    "Wild misrepresentations"...what an arrogant %$#

WOW!!!...if you don't march in a straight line and do everything as told without saying a word...you're an extremist, you're an alarmist, you're using sacre tactics, etc.

This was the admistration that claimed to desire bipartisanship? What a crock!

Im not watching it but I imagine it will be him changing his [empty] words to make the same exact thing that already sucks more appealing sounding rather than changing the thing that sucks itself.

    So far...that's it exactly.

Keeping count...Question #1 (staged question to paint the Republicans in the wrong.) Surprise!

BTW...they didn't mention anything about the Blue Dog Democrat concerns. (surprise!)

"Why would people prefer having an insurance company make decisions for you instead of a doctor?"

That's a little spin...I don't think people are concerned about that. They are concerned about having the government make decisions instead of a doctor.

This "town hall" is a monumental waste of time. There is nothing new being discussed and details aren't being talked about. I don't think you're going to win anybody over doing this.

Hopefully it will get better. This looks like the campaign where he never had to answer a tough question or explain anything in detail.

The Democrats have the votes and claim to have everyone in the medical community on their side.

If this is true...why wait? Go ahead and ram this down our throat.

Since they're not doing this the question should be...Why not?

I think the Blue Dog Democrats and those who will soon be running for re-election have realized the American public has valid concerns over this plan. Instead of admiting this, it's more advantageous to blame the other party. This worked in the past...but not now. You have the votes. If it's not proceeding, don't look across the aisle.
