    Why do people always point out they fact that Rush takes pain pills? How is that even relevant to his political views? I'm not trying to defend the guy and I don't listen to his radio program, but the parts that I have heard have pretty much always turned out to be right. Based on my limited exposure, it seems to me that the dude gets his facts straight. If you can filter out all of the "doom and gloom" spin he puts on it you actually have valuable, accurate information.

    There is a MASSIVE double standard in place in this country right now and both sides are to blame.

    NOTICE: If you are thinking "Well MSNBC has good facts too if you filter out all the spin" you should probably reread my post and pay attention this time. You'll notice I never said they didn't.

    Yet anyone that thinks we need health care reform in this country is labeled as an Obama sycophant and a "socialist"! I think the system is broken and needs fixing. It doesn't mean that I'm in lock-step with the entire Obama agenda. and even the Obama health care bill fall far short of socialism.

    There is way too much government control involved for it not to be socialistic, (not sure if that's a word) both indirectly and directly. Sure it's not full out socialism but it's a big step in that direction. This is my major hold up with "just waiting to see if it works". Once this is in place, it opens the door..."give them an inch and they take a mile" comes to mind here.

    Well, God didn't write the Bible, bedouins did. I don't believe in Hebrew Mythology any more than I believe in Norse, American Indian, or Greek mythology. I believe that there is a Creator (thus not an atheist) but it is impossible for us to know that or to know what God expects from us, if anything (thus agnostic).

    My friend, socialism and government are NOT synonymous. Socialism is a word badly misused and abused by the right wing for anything left of them that they don't like.

    And Rush Limbaugh should be listened to.
