American Pharoah wins Triple Crown!

Hats off to American Pharoah. 37 yr drought is over. One of the fastest 1 1/2 mile times in history, and his final 1/4 mile was actually faster than Secretariat's. This is truly one of the greatest race horses in history.

Wasn't sure that he would do it after watching a seemingly invincible Big Brown come out last in the Belmont.

 

Now he will earn an estimated $7 Million a year in stud fees at $100K per session. They should change his name from American Pharoah to American Gigolo.

 

ill take big red....you can have the rest....citation, american pharoah,man-o-war, etc,etc, etc.....

 

my exacta would be - Secretariat /American Pharoah

i'm not sure if i would box them.

 

Secretariat is in a different category IMO. Always will be.

Then hope like hell a long shot runs 3rd otherwise it's too chalky to get your bet back
