I'm just going to respond to this because I feel like it is your main point. I really don't have a big problem with pot/weed/hashish, whatever you want to call it. I doesn't destroy lives like other drugs do. While alcohol and cannabis can become addictive, they typically are not. Most people can control themselves. Other substances, methadone, heroin, crack, meth, cocaine (to a lesser extent), can grip people much more easily. I do agree that if they want to be junkies that's fine but I also have a right not be surrounded by junkies, to have junkies going to clinics and shooting up on streets that I help pay for, and for my children to not be exposed to that kind of behavior. I agree with personal rights but what you have to remember is that personal rights should be held by all including those that are affected by others exercising their rights. Plus, God doesn't like drugs.:hihi:
Just remember God created MJ and Coca plants, maybe he wanted us all to get high. I think it was apples he warned us about.
Obama's shout-out for Mexico's drug war - Yahoo! News legalize and control drugs and this problem goes away also.
