Always a catch. Having the SEC Network is a must. Also want some kind of package to watch the Astros.
Couldn't find the refresh rate but this might be an indication: The Toshiba Fire TV is a decent TV for mixed usage. It does not excel in any particular area, but it performs decently in almost all. It is very responsive due to its fast response time and low input lag and is suitable for a relatively bright room. However, the image quality deteriorates when viewing it from the side and it will display some uniformity issues that can annoy some people. This link has enough about it to send it to Neptune but maybe you can understand all the technical lingo. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/toshiba/amazon-fire-tv-2018
Just thru Addons on kodi. If you cut the cord register at ustvnow bc you get a lot of free service re: local networks etc. Anyone have a chromebook? Thinking of getting one to replace an old laptop.
I don't have a chromebook but I have used one a few times. Good enough for browsing and some apps but you can't run windows software on one. I have seen any with more than 32 gigs of storage. I could use a new laptop. Wasn't really readyvto upgrade right now but with the Primeday sale ending tonight I'm going to take a look at what's available.
I watched a video review. It has pretty much all of the sports channels I want. It does have the History or Discovery channels and I like those. The review I saw may be old because it mentions $35 a month and now it's $40. Maybe now they have history and discovery.
I just scrolled through and didn’t see either of those. Still no Comedy Central either. But for the family streaming option and cost, it beats what I was paying.
