    A winner.

You don't tell your kids to play 4 quarters and not coach for 4. And he was right cause it was reversed.

Imagine that, 2:00 minutes left and Hawaii is still throwing for the endzone.

Right, since he would not have won without that challenge :rolleye33:

    Completely unnecessary.

Out of curiosity, do you think Les would have done that?

Don't try to steer it away from what I said, you tell kids to play for four quarters and you show them, by example, you mean it. Like I said, Hawaii was throwing to the endzone with two minutes left.

You played a lot of organized sports?

Yes, it is interesting how bad Oklahoma's program is by choking to a WAC team last year (a team from Boise, Idaho). SEC powerhouses don't roll like that :)

I'm giving Hawaii the "Most Overrated Team of the Century" Award. How does it feel to play a REAL team?

Oh, and I love how Kelin Johnson of Georgia just had to throw in that extra jab at the end of the game of Georgia deserving the Nat'l Championship berth...pfft. I love ya'll whomping on Hawaii but beat Tennessee and SCar and you wouldn't have to be "deserving" but, rather, be playing in the 'Ship.

If I was richt.. i'd be going for the throat. One of his seniors got taken out of the game on the first punt of the game. Led with the helmet against an unprotected returner and then celebrated.

Say.. if Flynn ran out of bounds and an OSU player took a cheap shot and Flynn ended up injured -- if we had the chance i'd want to embarass the hell out of OSU. I'm talking onside kicks being up 28+.

my thoughts on this game (that i actually watched to the bitter end):
    1. hawaii would have been a good match for a 2nd string sec team
    2. hit at the beginning of game was uncalled for, should have been dealt with - if not by refs by hawaii coach
    3. richt challenge, though correct and within the rules was unnecessary. that would have been ok, but....
    4. richt was beginning to get that evil smug look that tubby has - that's bad.
    5. it's college football, not pro - when you're up that much in the 4th, put in your 3rd and call off the dawgs (just my opinion)
    6. rose and sugar suck this year more than ever.
    7. i hope we provide a better game next week.

I don't understand the reasoning that the losing team should let their starters go for the endzone all 4 downs against the winning team's backup defense, yet the backup offense should just run down the middle the entire 4th quarter. It's BS.

    Prove you can stop them.

Yeah, I just saw some more of that talk in an ESPN article. Also Chris Rose was very publicly asking that question of Richt and the Uga defenseman as well, "should you guys be playing in the" MNC?

It's bull****. Note to Uga, first, win your division to go the Conference CG. Next, win the CCG to have legit shot at MNC. Good luck next year!
