The only thing I can see working is if Alleva gave Les and ultimatum and told him that we love having you here, you are good for the program overall, the fans love you, the state loves you, but you have to give up control of the offense and hire and OC who is up-to-date with the state of the game. Saban had to swallow his pride and do it, and Les isn't anymore of a control freak than Saban is. As we all know, there is no evidence to date that this could happen, and Les is stubborn as Hell, that's for sure, but if it is laid out to him directly and clearly, it might be our only shot. I doubt it will change, but it's all we have if Alleva is sticking with him.
