Here is mine. I only included players who I have seen in an LSU uniform and left off the old guys who were before my time with the exception of Bob Pettit.

    Starting 5

G- Pete Maravich - Still the all time record holder for scoring in college B ball.
G- Chris Jackson - Led the NCAA in scoring his freshman year.
F- Rudy Macklin - LSU all time rebound leader and 2ond in scoring
F- Bob Pettit - Included on his reputation. I did see him play on TV as a pro when I was a kid.
C- Shaquille O'Neal - Who else? Maybe the most dominating big man ever in college ball.

    Off the bench

    G- Ethan Martin
    G- Derrick Taylor
    F- Duane the Astronaut Scales
    F- Cookie Man Greg Cook
    C- Stanley Roberts
G- Howard Hi-C Carter He wasn't called Hi-C because he drank orange juice
    F- John Williams

    Honorable Mention

    Vernell Singleton
    Willie Sims
    Al Green
    Ricky Blanton
    Marcus Thornton
    Lionel Green
    Don Redden

I'm sure there are other deserving players I can't think of right now. I could have put All-Americans Joe String Music Dean and Sparky Wade in there but I have no idea how good they really were not ever having seen them or whether they could hang in today's game. With Pettit there is no doubt.

Yours looks good but i’d have Clarence Caesar on the honorable mention as well as Randy Livingston and Ronnie Henderson along with Marcus Thornton.

I left Livingston off because his injuries limited his playing time. I loved it when CC would hit a bucket and the student section would start bowing and yell "Hail Caesar." For that matter there are some great ones I should have put Glenn Big Baby Davis on the second team and Tyrus Thomas on Honorable Mention.

He really didn't accomplish anything at LSU.

I still think he would be one of the best players on the court.

@Bengal B Agree with your 1st 5, but that was easy. 2nd and 3rd 5's get a lot more subjective. I'd go with....

    G Ethan Martin
    G Howard Carter
    F Leonard Mitchell
    F Stromile Swift
    C Greg Cook

    3rd team
    G Derrick Taylor
    G Marcus Thornton
    F Ricky Blanton
    F Jamie Lloreda
    C Jabari Smith

You have Greg Cook at center. He could play either the 4 or the 5. I can't believe you left Stanley Roberts off altogether.

I intended to put Mitchell on either 2nd or 3rd team but I forgot. I didn't see many of Stromile Swift's games so I may have overlooked him.
