This has got to be good for us with QB's nationwide winning this game as the premier matchup Sat. Got two good ones coming in next year. Keep an eye out for AJ Aycock who is a walk on. Watched a lot of video of this guy may be a diamond in the rough. He is big can run and has a great arm.
Amazing that, in just the few hours last evening after the win, one could hear the change in tone of many sportscasters regarding LSU. I was hearing RESPECT for the first time in a long time. It's as if LSU's high rankings in the toughest subdivision of CFB (SEC West) didn't matter because without a solid passing game we were somehow just a fluke. Some fine tuning & this is gonna be a very, very interesting year. Because it is ALREADY.
My only critique of the game is we need to develop a power game with our big boys i.e. Carter, Curry and Tyrion for special short yardage situations and improve the run game in general. And man work on our onside kick defense it was absolutely awful on that play last night.
Interestingly enough, now when you go to ESPN.com, LSU is actually showing up in articles over there on the main page. Rarely do I see that, always had to click on LSU to view any news about them on that site.
Emery was the #2 or 3 RB in the nation last year. He didn't play last night but he needs to develop quickly.

True. Maybe this coming week we start to develop the run game so we can burn clock if we have to. Our WR are our strength so keep that as our bread and butter.
