    I mean how far the ball travels when they connect. Not just talking about Judge or Stanton but the HR's are way up in general in MLB.

    Probably some of all. Juiced baseballs, juiced players, all variables

    I heard this year's balls were slightly different, might be a factor,.. the ball's stitching is higher, seems like it would benefit pitchers, didn't though,.. in fact, the raised stitching's biggest impact was causing chronic finger blisters amongst starting pitchers. The balls at the extreme edge of being out of compliance, were more plentiful, might be a factor.

    It's thought that a new hitting philosophy catching on has had the largest impact on HR numbers,.. Batting coaches are instructing their players to use more of an upper-cut swing now.
