I drove an Isuzu. :hihi: Trust me, at the high school I went to, I got made fun of plenty. Everyone else drove BMW's, Corvettes, Land Cruisers, and Merc's. Now that I think about it, she probably would have fit right in.

Sounds like the School I graduated from. I hated private school. I drove an 11 year old Jeep Cherokee with no AC or radio, and when that died I "upgraded" to a 9 year old primer and rust colored Nissan pick-up with some homemade bumpers and other body parts.

You pegged it. It was a private Christian school. The only reason I went there is because the public school asked me to leave after getting in one too many fights my first semester. It wasn't my fault and I didn't start a single one of them. I spent four miserable years as the only poor white kid not living in the children's home. I did however date the prettiest girl in school for three years. All that got me was an ulcer when she dumped me for a frat guy in college. :hihi:

I never really got into any trouble in public school, but when my grades began to slip below what my dad considered acceptable, he found a second job and enrolled me in a Catholic school that is highly regarded as a college prepratory(sp?) school. Ifit in like a square peg in a round hole. But hey, it put me back on the right track.
