Fastest players to 50 homers, 200 Runs, 200 RBIs

Bregman tied with Ted Williams for 3rd fewest games (341).

Arod took 347 games to do it.

Hank Greenberg did it in the fewest games (317).

Bregman just hit a monstrous 30th dinger. Houston up 3-1 in the 3rd.

Yeah about those betting lines on the MVP.....

He's the best baseball player in the big leagues right now.

    Move over Trout.

We are in Rodriguez's head now if we meet in the playoffs.

This was arguably their second best starter behind Sale.

Top of the order for Astro today:
Hitting first: Reigning World Series MVP
    Batting second: Reigning AL MVP
Batting third: Reigning All-Star game MVP

Tyler White has emerged in the last month as the second hottest hitter on this team.

    Last 26 starts

    .337
    20 Runs
    30 RBIs
    8 Hrs

It appears he has finally made it to the big league to stay.

That means Houston now fields an entirely homegrown infield of White, Altuve, Correa and Bregman.

    Pretty amazing.

I wish Houston had stayed in the NL Central. I miss the Astro/Cards rivalry.

The leagues were imbalanced. 6 teams in the NL Central and 4 in the AL West. Makes sense to pair the Astros with Texas but the rest of the division is all on the west coast. Cards-Cubs is a bigger rivalry. At least it is now that the Cubs are finally good.

And I would hate for that great Astro pitching staff to have to take their turns at the plate. NL should get out of the dark ages and implement the DH rule.
