I agree the rest of the season would have been appropriate, however I am quite suprised that the NFL suspended him for more than a couple.
I was told that 5 game is the most you can have for on the field altercations. The players union have negotiated this into their league contracts. I think it should have been a year myself.

i am a Titans fan. (sad to admit these last few years). This was beyond a low point. Coach Fisher is a great coach and I hope this offense drew the last straw. AH should be deactivated.... No pay, No play, let someone else deal with this headache of a player. Also, before he can be signed by another team, he needs to complete Anger Mgt. classes. He has a history of losing control. This guy has caused trouble before and he'll cause it again. It gets worse every time. His team should consider signing a replacement for him and cutting him loose.
