Those Titans are something too. I'm sensing a Super Bowl run now.

I know this was a typo because steel cleats are illegal in all sports but baseball.

...but I hear ya. That's just pathetic of Haynesworth. He should be kicked out of the league.

First big test for the new commissioner. I wouldn't shed a tear if he got the rest of the season. Probably more like 4 - 6 games.

I don't know the type of cleat but ESPN reported that the Cowboy player had thirty stitches in his head.

Did anyone see Fisher blasting Haynesworth after he was kicked out of the game? Fisher will not put up with that crap from any of his players.

The NFL gave him a 5 game suspension. :thumb:

Swerved It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds.

It's a sad day for football. This ass-hat should have been tossed from the league just to make an example of his sorry ass. Instead he gets a vacation... lovely... If I didn't work for myself I'd try this next time I wanted a month off. But I know better.. I'd fire me for that.

just to make things clear, it is a suspension without pay.

Regardless, he shouldn't be playing the rest of the year.

Personally I would have preferred to see him get suspended for the remainder of the season. Upshaw and the NFLPA would have fought it and probably won in aribration. Even though Upshaw said he will appeal the 5 game suspension I think it will stand. It cost him almost half a million in salary.
