1. Maybe schools need to look at having players sign contracts rather than Letters of Intent. After all, college football is the minor league for the NFL.

  2. Well it is now, and you are right, if they are going to sign and NIL deal it should be a deal and it should be run through the school, binding. Make those fuckers think a little.

  3. I don't think NIL in its present form is going away anytime soon.
  4. It won't go away, but they should tie it into some sort of a contract. This deal is with this team and it is binding. It can be done.

  5. Remember, "one and done" in this case would mean one year at one school and then move on to another. Its the NFL that has the "3 years out of high school" rule.
  6. The wild card in all this could be the return of the USFL. Unless they implement a minimum age rule similar to the NFL's they could start offering kids right out of high school. If that happens, or even if the USFL attempts to implement a "one and done" policy, college football could become seriously watered down.
  7. Who are you talking about here, "the Alabama radio host?" Radio out of what city?

I've yet to see a regional radio host actually break a story in college football. Can anyone name one?
  8. Maybe, just maybe, this moves us closer to a separation from the G5 schools. l
If I recall correctly I read some schools have money tied into academic performance.
  9. sounds like wishful thinking to me…
  10. I guess that works if the kids aren't getting paid until after the semester. I have no idea how this system works.
