Not sure how this can effect an offense based on, here Trent run left oh you saw a hole to the right, ok do what you want. Sprinkle in 3 or 4 play action passes and you have cloned BAMA. I pray someone new comes in and in a months time puts in some 5 to 7 step drop backs so Mingo and Montgomery can unleash HELL on BAMA's ass!
That statement right there in a way is a testament to Les Miles and his badassedness. So conservative that when The Hat and his Tigers came to Tuscaloosa, Les basically mindfu**ed Saban, into trying 3 risky at best field goals, put an injured receiver back as a punt returner and tried to pull off a wr pass with said injured receiver. Saban tried to out hat The Hat, and the LSU Defense did what it does, the secondary should be called the honey badgers, they all take what they want. Anyway, the point is, Saban is afraid of Miles. Half of the game is knowing your opponent, and Miles is a riverboat gambler, and can fool anyone. Going to be interesting to see if the game plan changes this time around.
Yep...I can see this scenario playing out over the next few weeks: 1) JM to CSU 2) KS to ? 3) Saban to TX They all see the writing on the wall that LSU will be ruling the SEC the next 2-3 years and they don't like the prospects of sitting on the sidelines and missing out on the SEC West, SEC Championship, and BCS Championships. Good times ahead!
Saban isn't leaving Alabama unless he loses a couple more against LSU (including the BCSNCG). It will be more of an ego driven move at that point. He will continue to be very successful at Bama except for the mind rape he will consistently undergo playing against LSU and the mad hatter. LaSalle you hit that point dead on there.
My key question is: which coach can stand working under Saban???, not to mention other underlings..........
Do we all now realize our offensive problems were a result of Crowton's offense, not Miles handcuffing Crowton's offense? I think McElwain is a good OC - glad he is leaving.
