Miles lost every subsequent time they met (a five-game streak), which was probably the biggest reason he lost his occupation as a football coach. This is not even up for dispute. Now was it smart to fire Miles and hire a guy even less likely to beat Saban? Probably not, but that's above my pay grade.

I think so, for that game yes. He also made the right call in 2011 going away from Lee in that Bama game. In fact the 2010 UF game he juggled the qb’s correctly there too. I’m not trying to take away the things Miles did right.
