Two things: Under Saban adjustments were made "on the fly"; the defense did NOT watch the Offense much at all. I've not been paying attention to the sideline this season so I cannot speak much about what they are doing now (no adjustments were needed, really). Second, it's not so much as "manning up" but play selection - of course, execution is critical which is "manning up" when necessary.
I said it a week ago ... and several people told me they were sure Chavis would guard against it ..... but apparently NOT!! Screen to Richardson out of the backfield!! The guy is more dangerous as a receiver than he is as a running back.
