you'd swear they are brainwashed... I still grasp onto reality. I know there is a great chance LSU might go undefeated this year...however, my head tells me they drop 1-2.
Alabama fans are crazy to want to leave the SEC. Doesn't a rich tradition for a school and even a conference mean anything anymore? I hate Alabama as much as the next person, but it wouldn't be to same without them. Another thing; to even say that LSU would go to the ACC! People think LSU when the see SEC.
I usually do not like to get in these contests. Mainly because I am just one voice, and I only speak for myself. As did these fans on the Bama forum.Some fans may feel that they want to leave the SEC, and they are entitled to their opinion, just as everyone on all these boards.That is all it is, an opinion. I have not run across anyone on any of these boards that have voting power in their respective universities, and can make the decisions for them. Personally, I would never want to leave the SEC. We have been a member of this conference as long as anyone, and an important part of the conference. We have been to more bowl games than any other school in this conference, and brought in our share of money to the conference. I just do not understand other schools saying we are a thing of the past. We are 3 years out, and we won the SEC conference. People are talking like we have not won a game in 20 years. Let's face it, we have gone thru a lot(granted it's our fault), and we are still trying to pay off that debt. About casting that first stone....what team in the SEC in the last 10 years has not been put on probation for a violation of rules? If you were saints, and had never been on probation or even investigated, then I might think that you had room to talk, but not with the present circumstances.

I don't think Alabama is a thing of the past and I do believe that they are an important part of the SEC, just as all teams are. The thing that gets me fired up is (SOME) Alabama fans thinking they are better than the rest of the SEC and that we should kiss their ass for some reason. It's kind of funny for those Bama fans that think leaving the SEC would help them......but as with anything money is the key and money is in the SEC. BTW was not the Title you claim three years ago only the West, and you were on probation at the time? I guess I could look, naw that wouldn't be any fun.
