Hell, I should get him to sell my books for me. Maybe the bookstores will finally take my books back.

I spoke with an Auburn fan at the gas station Saturday night. very cordial and wished LSU luck the rest of the way.

I was at Talladega for the race in 97. Wore my LSU jersey Sunday and as me and my bro-in-law were walking in front of the grandstands someone hollered "Hey...Geaux Tigers" and that whole area of the stands started cheering

I dig LSU football fans. You guys have fun with it. But I must admit I encountered some rough baseball fans at the Met. Of course Bama had just lost, I think it was 18-12, and I had just seen a ball that bounced on the warning track be called a homerun for LSU, so maybe I was just in a foul humor, and not in the mood to put up with any ribbing.

Maybe the ball hit Rush's other fam and thought you were his son?

    Just a thought.

    I miss bitternd. :bncry:

I remember my cousins going to the game back when we finally beat Bear (the 20 - 10 game), and they came back with nothing but good things to say about the fans there. Nothing but "ya'll played a good game" and the like afterward outside of the stadium and at dinner. Very different treatment than they had gotten at other SEC venues, they were a bit surprised at how civil everyonoe was.

The 2005 Alabama game was the student bus trip for us kiddos. For the most part, the fans were pretty nice to us , before the game, but after the game, well, that's a different story. We were making our way back to the bus not saying anything to anyone when some Bammer fraternity kids got in our face and started yelling "You think you're so bad, don't you? KATRINA! KATRINA! KATRINA!"

Other than that, I really can't think of another bad experience I've had with Bama fans. I'm sure this year's game will be a little different, though. ...Wonder why...

Hmmm. My Dad graduated from Alabama, I was born in Tennessee, raised in Atlanta, GA and married a guy from Louisiana, becoming by default a die-hard LSU fan. If Bama fans are so wonderful then why, when I was traveling I-59/20 to Anniston, AL (as I do every other week), proudly flying my LSU flags on my truck the day after the Florida game did my flags get not just ripped off my truck but broken off when I stopped for fuel at the Chevron on MacFarland Blvd.? Only other flags I saw flying there were both AU and UA....... classy.... guess I'll start carrying gas cans in the back of the truck and not contribute to the economy there.

Actually i dont think it'll be bad at all. If we win the worse you'll get is a Rammer Jammer which is to be expected. All i can say for sure is CBS will get their moneys worth. Ever night game at Bryant Denny this season has been a good one, i expect nothing less from this game.

I'm sure there are more than a couple bad stories about LSU fan behavior...i bet there are even some bad stories about Vandy fan behavior...bad apples in every group, i hope those of you who make the trip enjoy yourselves, i hope that the bad apples don't ruin your bad time, i look for a good game and i'm excited about some actual football fans coming into town, last year all we got were ole miss and state fans, at least LSU can talk about tradition.
