Not the same Bama team you've seen the last several years D. I felt we needed to make Dick throw the ball at least 20+ times. We did. I felt we needed to keep their rushing around 200. We didn't. (McFadden is just damn good.) JPW started strong, then responsible for 3 TO's, then finished strong. It's refreshing to see a Bama team finish strong in the 4th quarter. One hell of a ball game, you have to admit. Georgia next week...and this game reminds me so, so much of the UGA game in '04. The Strip would certainly be a great place to be tonight.
Yes it was. To get the ball with just over two minutes, with no timeouts, and make a game-winning drive showed a lot of grit and maturity with JPW also. I've said this a few weeks back but believe it even more now, Auburn's in trouble this year for the IronBowl- barring some kind of miracle.
That game was just given to Bama. Looks like the Bear brought his officials back from the dead. That was not interference in the end zone on 4th down. That was well played defense and i feel bad for Ark. because they just got what we got at Auburn the past few years. Dont ever go down to the end with a state of Alabama team and expect to get fair officiating.
Saban was still sounding like himself , talking about the great win for the fans , he maybe the next Governor
Call it what you want...It was iffy, I will admit...BUT... If you take a look at the prior drive (When we got the FG), there was a no call on an obvious PI that would have given us the 1st instead of having to opt for the FG. Earlier in the game, the Hogs also had a defensive PI in the endzone...Castille would have had the pick and maybe some running room??? It was obvious and also a no call. I'm thinking they also scored here...I'll have to go back and watch the DVR...
