I don't think so, even if the sec does not get in the rest of the country is starting to understand how tough it is to go undefeated in the sec. If there were a poll after the national championship game that no sec team would be involved in this year, that asked if the evntial National Champion could beat bama or lsu, I would bet my last dollars that the country would say no they could not.

With you on that. I just keep thinking about how much it seems like ESPN wants things to change. I hear that the collective fandom is getting bored with SEC dominance. I wouldn't be surprised if they start to question our conference's superiority, because that's exactly what the rest of the nation wants to hear.

Hard for them to question that....why else would espn have picked up the rights to the sec?

Yeah we can't call shenanigans bc espn now owns the sec. It's in their best interest that it succeeds. Even if Robert smith disagrees.

Put your self in their shoes. It has got to be getting old seeing the crystal come south. And to add insult to injury they put 2 of us in there last year to guarantee it. I think the rest of the country even tho they know we are the best would like to watch someone else play for it.
