i think the biggest damage is with our reputation...we look like weak turncoats, clowns. It will leave us more vulnerable, our enemies more aggressive and strengthening , and growing. Trump had quietly went from 20K troops to 2500, and all was relatively stable. All clown in chief had to do was finish the job....get the people out, then the gear and the remaining troops and say goodbye and good luck.
maybe the baltics, ukraine, and taiwan, these are the places we care about defending. maybe if serbia decided to blast the bosniaks again. but not of that seems likely and i dont think our weak reputation will encourage any aggression. i mean, we were there 20 years, gave em a trillon or whatever in guns and humvees and choppers. thats not weak. if we left properly and took the gear instead of arming the afghans, that looks even weaker. its the afghans that are weak. they are the ones that dont care about afghnistan. they are tribal and dont see it as a country. we trained them and armed them and they gave up. we should just accept that they are clowns. Unfortunately it's going to get worse. The Taliban have the airport surrounded and Senile Joe & his incompetent staff/advisors don't have a clue or the ability to get them out. Biden should be impeached but it won't happen because the alternative is lucky if she knows what day of the week it is.

I'm afraid you are wrong here. They (taliban) have access to the bio-metric database so they know who in country can fly them. They won't be able to maintain them but the Chi-coms can without a doubt reverse engineer them. The good news (sort of) is they don't have any Apaches
