so it is a coincidence that the guy he guards man-to-man every game shoots well below his average and everyone else is near or at the average?

but he is also a great defender...

stop avoiding the topic at hand... which is how stupid your original comments were...

Temple is easily our best defensive guard, and when he strokes a few home, he is a very valuable commodity

Here is the on topic.....I would rather give a few shots dropping over Temple than a turnover by him then a dunk by opponent.

Outstanding post. This is what Garrett Temple is for us.

Temple can be that guy. But no offense, Jackie Manuel was probobly the best defender in basketball last year. Hopefully Temple can make his way up there.

Just so I understand your point in this thread ... your problem with Temple is his turnovers and you think Tmitch would be better at that position? Is this correct?

You might want to look up the TO stats for Tmitch and Temple..

LSUGOLFER I told u earlier this year that Temple could play, I told somebody that Tyrus would be higher on the draft board that Glen, and i told somebody that that LSU will struggle early in the season but they will come around when the SEC starts. You didnt like Garrett from the beggining, and thats fine but you can at least give the guy his credit. He is playing better than what a lot of people thought he would. The tigers are winning 3-0 in the SEC and here you are finding negative s*** to say about the basketball team. Man just shut up!!! I dont know what your problem is. Now I know you are going to have something sarcastic to say but whatever get over it. They are winning be happy for them man. The Temple kid is playing well.

What we need to be worried about is Tyrus going pro. Yall go to www.nbadraft.net and look where people are ranking Tyrus. Make sure it is updated

I will agree he has come around. But I am saying he only got his shot because of his name. And I still beleive he should not be starting, maybe 6 man.
