Dick's is catering to it's bottom line. Profit on gun sales, for them, is expendable at the prospect of attracting anti-gun customers to buy all their other shit. It's a great business decision for them. Nobody should think of it as altruistic.

 

Who are their clientele? I've seen a couple of references here to millennial's but I've only been in a Dick's once and it was at least 10 years ago. The only thing I remember about them was that it was a sporting goods stores that had prices higher than I could get the same things elsewhere.
