A couple of her facebook posts...

I can't be silent any more. I tried to be respectful during the elections. I can't sit by and do nothing with what is going on currently in the USA. It's horrifying. If you like what Trump is currently doing please unfriendly or block me because you won't like what I am going to begin posting.

I have created a private group to air my thoughts about what is happening in America at the moment. If you would like to be added to the group please let me know. Thank you Madeleine Holland and Nancy Diller Enofor your thoughts on people making political statements on FB. We all have a right to our opinions and the right not to hear others opinions that may be offensive to us.

Sooooo....when do I get to exercise my right not to hear her son's bullshit?

@uscvball Like you I know you’re very serious and I generally agree with your positions. In this case I find your posit about the impact of drugs on these shootings is interesting and possibly compelling. I look forward to learning more.
However I have a very hard time accepting your idea that Hogg and Gonzales were plants. Or there is some sort of “deep state” effort to take our guns. If that was/is accurate we’re totally screwed. You use David Hogg as example of a plant yet this article and others debunk that premise. He is a student and aspiring journalist. Like too many of today’s journalists he sees it as the opportunity to push his liberal positions.
https://heavy.com/news/2018/02/david-hogg-florida-school-shooting-california-video/ what I do see is the success of leftists to win the hearts of youth. This has been a targeted effort since the sixties though I doubt it’s organized. It’s natural to see conspiracies when the tide of political thought goes against you. Rather than flailing at them we need to find a way to win that debate. I think it’s possible for as Winston Churchill said “If you’re not a liberal when you’re young you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative when you’re old you have no brain.” Rather than trying to recover the past we need to find ways to make a future that embraces the values we honor the one young choose.

With much of today’s youth being so disconnected with reality and so plugged in to the social networks, I’m not really all that surprised. I don’t think this is a government effort, though. Too many things would have to go right. Too many people would have to be brought into the loop and there’s no way high school kids don’t go into business for themselves. But, I’ll listen to conspiracy theories because I find them interesting.

Exactly. Why is it so difficult to believe in a deep state effort to disarm the public? Do you doubt the existence of the deep state or that there would be an effort to do so?

I did not say he was a plant....or an actor. What I did say is that there are too many coincidences and unlikely facts and I find those much harder to believe than the bullshit I'm seeing and reading.

That Heavy article introduces some obvious nonsense which then makes it easy to debunk any theories about Hogg. That alleged high school yearbook photo from Redondo Shores High School is total bullshit because a) Redondo Shores is a continuation school, someplace David wouldn't likely be, and b) it came from an antifa spoofer. I said David's rehearsed interviews and calm demeanor don't seem reasonable....the Heavy claims, "others have pointed out that how a person reacts in a situation can really depend on their proximity to danger." Really? What "others"? Are they experts? A disagreement doesn't make one side wrong...that goes both ways. In fact, what was David's proximity to danger when he was hiding in a closet and how did he know precisely what was going on since several other students have said they were never quite sure because there never was an alarm. " “I want to show these people exactly what’s going on when these children are facing bullets flying through classrooms and students are dying trying to get an education,” he said. While he was filming, he said that all he could think was: “Tell the story.” I find THAT very hard to believe. The article said it's not that unusual for an interviewee to practice what they want to say....sure, if it's something other than a shooting. All the other kids I saw just spoke without having or needing to rehearse.

The aide who was fired for sending a letter on official letterhead accusing Hogg of being an actor....has nothing to do with what I said and in fact, gives readers another reason to dismiss all questions about Hogg's legitimacy.

The principal at the high school confirms they are students. So? I'm not suggesting they weren't. But the principal goes on to say what outstanding students they are....passionate, focused, blah blah blah. But WTF did they do about Cruz? I do not believe that these two or any other activist-prone students at that school didn't know....but what did they do about it? I've already shown that there were multiple avenues for reporting but only now do they speak up.

Why specifically do you doubt that it's organized?

I have lived in a state where the political tide has never been in my favor. I didn't suddenly wake up and become informed.

IMO, it's easier for you to dismiss any theory questioning what you think you know, than to accept there are people with whom you have placed your trust who have betrayed it.

Think again....it's easy to believe that Hogg, a media savvy, self-aware, investigative type kid would have heard about Cruz. Why then wouldn't he have gone to officials about it? Told his dad about it? Make a youtube about how public schools ignore warnings? Make a youtube about disenfranchised kids who get bullied? He passed all that up? Do you find it easy to believe that he pulled out his cell phone to interview students rather than self-preserve? And Emma....never had social media prior to this....now she has a very slick highly produced twitter account and comes off like the modern Joan D'Arc. Lol. I do not find that easy to believe. I believe my own eyes and my own intuition. Could I be wrong? Sure. But what's the price to pay if I'm not?

And for these kids who somehow think that gun control is the answer...

"Authorities say they've thwarted a student's plot for a mass shooting at a Southern California high school. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday that a security guard at El Camino High School in Whittier overhead a "disgruntled student" threaten to open fire on the school on Friday, just two days after 17 people were gunned down at a Florida high school.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Nicole Nishida told The Associated Press deputies discovered "multiple guns and ammunition" after searching the student's home.

The suspect is a 17-year-old boy, according to the Whittier Daily News. A spokesperson for the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District told the publication the boy threatened to go home and bring back a gun following a disagreement with a teacher over his headphones, which are not allowed during class."

Imagine that...some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country and yet a 17-year old had multiple guns and ammo. All it took was ONE security guard and people willing to actually do something.
