no, i don't think that is right at all, but i don't think there is a major difference, shady tactics to delete voters, or shady tactics to scare people away from polls, tactics used by state officials who also happen to be part of someone's campaign who lobby to have thousands of votes not count, when they approved confusing ballots, its all shady, its all wrong, this to me is no different.

ACORN was caught red handed turning in fake ballots. There is nothing even remotely shady about that. Its clear as can be. Glad to hear you condemn ACORN too, good deal.

Got to love CNN's headline about the tape story.

How is it "alleged" when you can see it and hear it with your own eyes and ears? Its obvious what they are talking about. How laughable is that.

Yes, Florida too! Of course they are turning themselves in now but last year they didnt do a damn thing until CNN busted their azz with an investigative report. Its obvious corruption runs rampant in ACORN.

no. im saying that it takes more than just the wrong-doing of a few members of a large group to stain the entire group. id imagine any operation that employess thousands of people $8/hr will get quite a few dishonest workers. a few thousand bad registrations out of several million is expected. fraudulent practices need to be shown to be systemic.

So 14 states and over 100 thousand illegal registrations are not enough to show something is systematic? If I ever get into serious trouble I want you on my jury. :rolleye33:

i dont know what the typical failure rate is for voter registration operations. if it was systemic, id guess it would be in more than 28% of the places they operate. 100k could be less than 1%. im no friend of ACORN, but just because there are a few bad people in the group means little.

damn right you want me on your jury, but unfortunately i never get on one. prosecutors have weeded me out 2 out of 2 times ive been on jury duty after they found out i am a scientist. the burden of proof is high and i would give very little weight to eyewitness testimony.

If you're defending ACORN here, all of your future posts can be considered uncredible. Can't blame Bush on this one.

Oh, and Beck? A little dramatic but he speaks the truth.
