Probably right, I'm out of smoke,.. funny how, the smaller the picture, the cuter she looked. She might not be so bad, fix her up a little,.. lose the glasses, give her a push-up bra, paralyze her vocal cords.
Lasalle .... I think you’ve misread the Republicans. IF ... there was an ounce of truth to the allegation, they’d care very much. But .... thanks to Schumer, who said he was going to do anything and everything to block Kavs nomination, and with the revelation that Feinstein held onto the letter for political purposes, consistent with Schumer’s promise to do anything and everything, couple with the fact that there is no evidence to corroborate her story, including the witnesses she provided ...... well .... it’s kinda hard not to blame them. My position is really simple. Due to the unethical treatment of the accused by European Countries, our constitution has this clause in it that a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Kav, really never needed to say a word. Simply put, the accusation is NOT evidence that a crime was committed. Fords case fails the very first tenant of evidence ..... evidence that the accused was present at the scene at the time of the crime. None of Fords witnesses provided that much needed evidence. Game over. All of the new stuff, scared of flying, possibly lying about polygraphs, clostaphobia, .... along with forgetting some key details that would not likely be forgotten is just icing on the cake that her story is probably not entirely true. Contrast this to Cosby and Weinstein, there was evidence that put them at the scene of the crime. Both resorted to the old consensual argument, but there were too many consistent stories pertaining to a particular M.O. They lost. As such, since Kav is still innocent, he deserves to be treated as f the allegation was never made.
Nope ... it was partisan as hell. But it was leveled at the Democrats, not Garland. As Obama’s said, elections have consequences .... the consequence of having the Presidency, is you get to nominate a SCJ. But, the consequence of elections that gave the majority to the Republicans in the Senate, means they control the confirmation process. Obama was unlucky that the Garland appt was in the last year of his presidency. I’m certain the Democrats would have done the same thing to a repub if the roles were reversed. I’d have to side with them that that is their right, given the same situation (provided it wasn’t something stupid like refusing with 2 + years left).
