Politics Accusations Against Kavanaugh

Maybe Feinstein is some really cunning old lady I’ve always gotten the feeling that it was staffers and people behind her driving her. The dudes that really bug the shit out of me are Blumenthal and Grassley. Blumenthal looks like he keeps little boys shoes in his closet and Grassley just seems like Clint Eastwood’s character in Gran Torino minus the redeeming qualities about that character.

And this is the danger in how a story like this spins out of control. There was never an accusation of rape. She claimed dry humping and a hand over her mouth. That is assault but there was no penetration, nor exchange of bodily fluids. But because the left has been throwing out the #MeToo, all of a sudden it's rape. Another reason why Kavanaugh is so emotional in reply.

I think all allegations from children should initially be met with sincerity in support of the child. Allegations from adults, with a little more skepticism. Ford was a minor but certainly not a child in that she willingly went to a party where she knew in advance the type of behavior that occurs. She admitted to consuming alcohol. I am certain that today, she believes her own story and that is why she can appear convincing. I do not however, believe her version of events.

My problem from there is believing that she never even told her husband and only confessed to a therapist in 2012, and BTW did not give Kavanaugh's name to the therapist. She told the therapist 4 people....then claimed 2 and that the therapist made a mistake. Yeah.....no. Big difference between 2 and 4 and I don't believe the therapist made a mistake. She was so bothered by this event that she had to have escape routes from every bedroom? And yet despite Kavanaugh's over a decade as a Circuit Court judge, she never thought to write and forward this letter? He rendered opinions and votes on any number of significant issues but it's only NOW that she makes an issue of his "character"?

Let's say for a minute that I believe her. Two minors, engaging in alcohol consumption, end up in a groping/humping situation. That was in high school. Both have gone on to successful careers, had families, and probably like the rest of the population, don't resemble their high school self in any way whatsoever. Is this really a pertinent issue in whether or not Kavanaugh can successfully serve as a SC justice? If a handful of women from his RECENT career had come forward, I might take a moment to reconsider....but that hasn't happened. And now his wife and daughters, complete innocents in this are being drug through the mud along with him. You wonder why he seemed so pissed? He's a father....with 2 girls who look at him like he's their world. I can't imagine how that must feel. I am really having difficulty believing that Ford's mental health was worth the public outing that has hurt so many facking people. She had access to the best mental health experts the country has. And yet THIS is how she moved forward? It wasn't worth it and it only makes me 100% convinced that this was ALL political.

 

She's got a shit ton of money and has been sucking special interest dick her entire career. For her, this has been all about re-gaining support in her home state. Back in February the CA Dem Party backed away from her and gave support to deLeon, another progressive whack job.

I did not say there was, but it doesn't matter 10 years from now when his daughters friends search his name. They will see accused of sexual assault next to it. The first thought through that person's mind will be rape.
