Politics Accusations Against Kavanaugh

I’m adding some satire and sarcasm into my Friday morning man. Try and do the same.

Completely believable....because? She is unable to provide some very material facts and I am willing to bet that that she had more than one beer. THAT is completely believable. Her memory of the alleged events is inconclusive at best and everything she has done since then is inconsistent with a victim of that magnitude of crime.

Women do lie. Women do falsify claims. Women have convinced courts of law on that very ability. And some women have told themselves a story long enough that they believe it, can be very convincing, and at times, even embellish the story.

I think it's possible that something happened to her at some point. Was it at that party? That night? That person? That crime? I don't know. But is her story, as she told it, believable to me.....as a victim of sexual abuse? No.

One thing I can tell you is that some victims of sexual abuse, particularly when they don't tell, become some of the best deceivers of all time, precisely BECAUSE they have been victimized, taken advantage of, convinced to stay quiet. I'd be willing to bet that she may even have been a victim of sexual abuse by a family member and this is the avenue she finally used to say something.

Her testimony was not believable to me. Am I right? Who knows, however, I was looking for certain things, things I could recognize, an affect I can detect....it didn't happen, it wasn't there.



"A former high school football star whose dreams of a pro career were shattered by a rape conviction burst into tears Thursday as a judge threw out the charge that sent him to prison for more than five years.

Brian Banks, now 26, pleaded no contest 10 years ago on the advice of his lawyer after a childhood friend falsely accused him of attacking her on their high school campus.

In a strange turn of events, the woman, Wanetta Gibson, friended him on Facebook when he got out of prison.

In an initial meeting with him, she said she had lied; there had been no kidnap and no rape and she offered to help him clear his record, court records state.

But she refused to repeat the story to prosecutors because she feared she would have to return a $1.5 million payment from a civil suit brought by her mother against Long Beach schools.

During a second meeting that was secretly videotaped, she told Banks, "'I will go through with helping you but it's like at the same time all that money they gave us, I mean gave me, I don't want to have to pay it back," according to a defense investigator who was at the meeting.

It was uncertain Thursday whether Gibson will have to return the money.

Prosecutors also said they didn't immediately know if she might be prosecuted for making the false accusation when she was 15."

So there you go LaSalle....a man falsely accused and CONVICTED of rape with a much higher standard of proof required, and a jury found him GUILTY based on the lies of a 15-year old. It does happen.

 

Can we re-visit the fuck Feinstein sentiment for a minute? Not only does she withhold the letter for an absurd 3 months, never mentions it until the last minute, and then supports Ford's demands for testifying.....but then invites a C-list TV actress to the hearing to "report". Are you effing kidding me? Alyssa Milano showed up to tweet comments and photos despite the rules in place which were that no pics or videos were to be taken or shared. She was warned once, continued to be irreverent, and ultimately security had to confiscate her phone. Not only that but this is apparently her version of respecting the seriousness of the issue being considered yesterday....



Yes, she is certainly welcome to wear what she wants but then be prepared for the response. The event demanded a certain level of propriety and respect....hanging your tits isn't that. And once again, that "guest" pass hanging over her left bag is courtesy of Feinstein.

 

Cory Booker and Kamala Harris should be never be allowed to get married. The offspring would be the next dictator of some country.

 

I believe that something happened to Mrs Ford a long time ago....She probably was drunk at a party, Every dude on this post knows what it was like to be a 17 year old boy trying to get some. Some boy probably did get handsy with her. Somehow over the last 35 years Kanvanughs name was pulled into this event. But listening to him i only saw a man whos name has been wrongly forever linked to rape. His actions are very simialr to how would have reacted placed in the same situation.

Both of these people have been completely shit on by the decomcrats on this committee.

Whoever leaked this story from Fiensteins office needs to get the shit sued out of them..

And for the first time, i can say Lindsey Graham has a spine what he said was what needed to be said. .

 

Happened to La’El Collins too in some form. He didn’t get drafted because of allegations, cost him a good chunk of change. I sympathize with that guy. I’m not saying that women don’t make shit up, I’m not saying men do don’t this kind of thing either.

She seemed genuine to me. Maybe I’m just conditioned to take allegations like these serious. Her demeanor and everything about her seemed real and honest and meanwhile he just seemed like a douche.

Now, maybe if that was me I’d be acting like a douche too. Who knows. And besides how I feel and what I think is irrelevant, it just matters what those senators think and how they vote. I’m just a caveman, what do I know. Did someone send you here to calm me down or something? I feel like you are a very talented snake charmer sometimes and I’m just a dumb cobra in a basket.
