Absolute worst thing that could have happened tonight for Coach Orgeron

Still got more games to finish with. If eaux does what he need to do and wins out he still gets the gig.

 

None of that matters until we get an offensive line that can block better vs Bama. the difference the last couple of years is that their DL has absolutely dominated our OL. Joe Montana and Walter Payton would have been dead meat behind LSUs OL tonight.

Absolutely. I think this game puts a negative light on Ensminger and Grimes, but I'm not sure what O could have done different. If he stays or if someone else gets the job, Ensminger and Grimes need to be replaced along with Peveto.

 

This loss and how it all went down really stings. That said, LSU played their fuckin asses off. It's not like we gave up or anything. Bama is just a BETTER team right now, period, end of story. People can bitch all they want about an offensive minded coach, but we need to recruit better at the O and Dling. That is where Bama is beating us. We also have to evalute QB's better because Etling missed too many opportunities, if he hits on some of them we might have pulled it off.

Now, I do feel that Coach Oeaux had some clock issues at times. I do feel we need to quit running so many short routes on 3rd down. As painful as it is we lost to a better team tonight. Hats off to Bama.

This is a slippery slope we playing with right now. We have coach who won't go anywheres, who has turned around a dead, beaten team. If we can't get Herman, then I don't see anyone worth losing Oeaux over. I know it will get flack, but I like Kiffin. I think he will do a very good job next time around. Jimbo is not the answer. I do think we need to get a better OC and OL coach though. We need bigger lineman on both sides.
