Yeah, the statement is bogus. I know no one player ever scores all on his own, but I don't think Fredo recruited KW who had two TDs last night. He may have recruited LaFell and Colt David but certainly never coached them. They accounted for another TD and two field goals. Take away those points and the score would have been tied.

If LSU had had thier ass handed to them, what would Nick the Prick say? Those are good players, just need the right coach? Nick is about Nick---He won a NC at LSU, went to the pros, got his ass handed to him. Now if he bombs at Bama, how high will his stock be? Of course, he can laugh all the way to the bank.

Keiland, LaFell, David are all Miles......they are freshmen.....and there are many other very good ones. Charles Scott, Jacob Cutrera, Al Woods, Tindon Holliday, Al Woods, Jai Eugene, Ricky Jean-Francois, Charles Deas, Ciron Black........to name a few.

Many don't realize how much talent we have on the bench too and it's Miles'. Our future is sick right now........we're gonna have fun in the upcoming years. :thumb:

You got that right ! I believe this win over ND is going to sway some of the players who are struggling to decide what to do. At least if Miles tells a recruit's parents that he will be at LSU they can believe him.

The USC forum is saying that McKnight said he'd made up his mind but will wait to announce- they aren't saying it's USC either. I find it odd that he would say that before the LSU or USC visit but with Saban's connection to Mcknight's HS coach and his contacting Chad Jones it worries me.......any thoughts??

Les Miles went 11-2 with the players that Nick went 9-4 with. This year half the team were Les Miles recruits and he wnt 11-2 again. Next season only the seniors will be Nick's recruits.

In his last year with us, with his recruits, Saban went 9-3 with less-than-5-point victories over the powerhouses of Ole Miss, Troy State, and Oregon State. The only teams he beat by 27 points or more that season were Ark St., Miss St., and Arkansas.

To now, 2 years later, attempt to take some credit for a blowout in the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame is beyond me.

Les Miles should be smiling right now. There's a guy in Tuscaloosa who wants his job and knows the only way he is going to recruit at Alabama and build that program is to leech and feed off of our success - success that Saban apparently believes is all his doing.

It's a great day to be a Tiger. :thumb:

Yea, I think he knows his mistake was leaving LSU, and now he's trying to right the ship. But he's got a hell of a hill to climb now...The Great Gene with his NC wasnt good enought to stay in Bama. I dont think there's a coach, that will ever be at Bama for a long period of time.

Did you notice he never once said
"I wanted to be at Alabama"

    It was
"I wanted to get back to College Football"

"This is one of the best places to accomplish that"

    One ??
Think he is covering his backside for when he does bolt...
