AA may already be on the way out

it is this opinion that keeps "chips on the old shoulder" and racism alive and well in America. If people would stop whining and complaining about what happened many years ago when none of us were alive and try to make today's world as good as possible, we would not have half the racial tensions we do. that goes for the Indians and the slaves....EVERY DAMN BODY!!!!!!

I want to be entitled to government assistance because i'm a christian and the Roman Empire horribly persecuted people of my religion. Every group has been persecuted before, get over it.

 

AA was brought as a solution b/c there was racial imbalance and turmoil. Question. Do you think discrimination exist today against blacks, hispanics, indians, exc?

Some people consider me to be a racist. I don't think I am. This is my view of it all.....White men are against everyone in the world (this is not a physical war that needs to be won, I don't condone the killing of any group except Asians, kidding of course). The stereotypical group that everyone believes to be the dominant group is becoming the minority. Over half the population of America is women (51.1% to be exact). If you add up all the 'minority' groups, they are very close to Caucasians (excluding Hispanics cause they are "Mutts" according to the CIA) (Does anyone else find that really funny?). No matter how you look at it, white men are becoming the minority (Compared to all minorities, white men are outnumbered .96 to 1.) It is very important that you understand the nature of my hate. I don't hate individual groups of people. I try not to stereotype as much as possible. What I do hate is people who rise up in protests and support groups and claim they are not treated equally. For example, I have many black friends, I don't hate black people. What I do hate is people who are in the NAACP and march for MLK day. People who stand out in society should not insist to be treated as regular members of society.....BET, Lifetime, Asian TV, all these things are set up exclusively for non white men. Where is our channel? Please someone tell me, what do white men have that NO ONE else has? (Besides Structure....that doesn't count because sane white men don't shop there) People are quick to say the KKK, but guess what? The KKK doesn't like anyone who isn't white and protestant. They have nothing against white protestant women! You just learned something didn't you? there should be no quota for who should get into a school, and who should get a job. this goes for whites, balcks, hispanics, asians, women, etc.

THE MOST QUALIFIED PERSON WHO DISPLAYS THE COMPETENCIES NEEDED SHOULD GET THE JOB.

this is where affirmative action is wrong. as a manager, i do not care what gender or ethnicticity you are as long as you perform like you should. but instead men, imparticular white men, are being disqualified from promotions and positions so companies can appear "PC" in the public's eyes.....screw the fact that the person getting shafted is 20 times more qualified for the position then the person getting it. I have family members and friends that have been screwed because of AA, and the people who got the job ended up quitting or getting fired because they could not do it correctly.

I think you are insane. When someone recognizes inequality, it's wrong for someone to let it be known. Once again, AA doesn't deal with people of vastly different qualifications, but you keep ignoring this, so oh well. But back to the insanity. You really think the white man has it bad in society today, don't you?

Dr. King said: "I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."


Now by quotas in labor force and universities we have replaced MLK's dream of wanting color blindness back to color preference. The one true solution to all of it is to teach kids individualism that they are defined by whom they are as a person and not by superficialities as skin color or height/weight. Teach them that nothing is rightfully there's beyond which they attain. Teach them that they are what they make of themselves and that no amount of handouts will ever change them for good or better who they are or can become. Teach them they are in the one country which, although has its flaws, they can achieve this through hard work, determination and discipline. Tell them to be proud they are afforded such opportunities and to take full advantage of the freedoms this great country they happen to live in, has. Tell them the world is theirs if they truly want it and teach them to believe they are special because they are an individual.

If all people ascribed to such beliefs then that would be the true reparations this country needs. No federal handout will ever truly be able to fix anything....only we can.

 

Unfortunately, decades after King made his speech his kids are judged by the content of their skin. Racism exists. The scale of opportunity in America is heavily tilted towards whites. That scale must be balanced.
