I agree with some of your post and for a gump you seem to have more sense of reality than most. Please Pay attention to this:LSU will hang more than 17 on BAMA you can book it!!!!!!!!! Our honey badger will be very angry and hungry after a 3 week rest. He will be a factor in the TIGERS victory. As stated in other threads Wing will keep field position in our favor and the CHIEF will have a plan for TR. I expect a great game but in the end the TIGERS will be more than Bama can handle for 4 qtrs. LSU 27-BAMA 13:tigereye:

Thank you sir... It's nice to have my intentions recognized. That seems to be an issue for some others in here, so they will be ignored. I don't respond or acknowledge ignorance. I base any argument I have off fact, and that is all...

Best of wishes to you as well sir, and I hope the game is like you say. Thank you for your response, and best of luck.

Pay no attention to the local smack artists. A few comments:

    1. Agreed. LSU is better at QB and WR and Bama is better at RB. TE is even.

    2. LSU's offensive line is far better than you seem to feel. Edge to LSU.

    3. Agreed. LSU is better at DL, Bama at LB, DB is even.

    4. LSU's linebackers are not as bad as you imagine, they have gotten the job done just fine. LSU's linebackers do not have to be bad for Bama's to be good.

    5. Alabama's linebackers are good, but they are NOT going to make LSU's rushing game "ineffective". You are dreaming, pal.

    6. Nick is a good coach, but he NOT the "greatest mind in college football" nor the "best coach in football". That's just fan hyperbole. We've seen him up close and personal and the man has flaws, too.

    7. LSU is superior in special teams.

I actually made a statement about special teams. I definitely feel like this game will come down to field position, and the edge in punting, and kicking go to LSU. You can't deny however, that we have legit, explosive playmakers returning the ball, with Maze, and Hanks. Lsu does as well, and Bama is excellent at defending against the punt/kick. (Ranked higher in those categories than LSU).

I commented on LSU's line, and their abilities. I think they are an excellent bunch, and will be the greatest front Bama has faced all season. I just think the edge we have at LB, and the way they support our D line, is the difference here.

And I agree, this will be the best game we see all season.

    Agreed guys.

Its just a game, there is nothing he said that is so offensive.
He is a Bama fan he of course has a lean to his team. This is what football is all about. Hearing a bunch of us have an LSU suck fest can get old after awhile. Some different perspectives are great.
Free country. But welcome and yes we are aware you think Bama will win. We think LSU will win. Its called being a fan.
I post frequently on tidefans.com and 99% of the people there are always cordial.
Lets show the same. Except for that Aggie....

I am not a guy to buy into stats, but: NFL draft ranking give the edge to Bama's DB's, and statistacilly they are ranked higher than LSU. True, we do not have the SOS LSU has, and have played a lot of cupcake teams. We did play Arkansas though, and we saw their ability against Texas AM. Granted, they scored more points on us than any teams this season, but we made them work for it, and for the most part we shut them down. I am not taking away from LSU's secondary, it is amazing, but Bama just has the edge. You made a good point though, we will see Nov 5th.

You make some excellent points, and I would be very hard pressed to make a strong point against any of them. The "Ganja Badger" (I am sorry, but I can't say his real name anymore LOL, no offense), will cause some issues for Alabama... Will he just run around freely, like he has in other games, and cause the turnovers he has? No, I think not... He hasn't faced a front like ours yet, and they will be ready for him. Trent Richardson will make him cry... That is the backfield though... I can't comment on the disruptions he will cause in the secondary.

I am personally worried about the field position issue... We are gonna have to stay focused in those situations, not make mistakes, and LSU has to do the same thing on the other side. I promise you this, at Tuscaloosa, these boys will be focused, and ready. More so than they have all season.

I'm sorry, but there is no "plan" for Trent Richardson... Think real hard about that statement.

Of course there is. The plan is to stop Richardson and dare Alabama to throw the ball. If Bama's running game gets rolling, LSU will have problems. Chief will sell out to the run. McCarron will have to hit his receivers early and often and that isn't nearly as sure a thing.

I know you made a statement that we had a slight edge but it seemed like an afterthought. We try to control the game through field position so I just think it is a very important matchup. I agree Maze is dangerous but how dangerous can he be calling for fair catches on 5.6 second hang times.

Your LB's are much better than ours. No question. However we are very balanced. The LB's won't be able to jam the box or we will burn them with the patented play action bomb to Ruben Randle

I'll be in Tuscaloosa for the game so i am amped up. Should be a great one.

Def ignore some of the people here who seem to think they are the ones playing Bama.

Excellent analysis, you know more about LSU than most fans.

About your points for the most part:

The O-lines are about even, but LSU's may be better at pass protection as Lee only has been sacked 4 times to McCarrons 8 times. I think Bama is even in run blocking because I credit most of the running game to how beastly Trent Richardson is. He is on a roll now but he did struggle in the beginning of the year against lesser opponents so we'll see.

With the secondary, I would give ours a slight edge because of our ability to create turnovers. Plus there's a stat out there that says on passes thrown on our D greater than 15 yards, only 6 out of 41 have been completed with our D grabbing 7 interceptions. That's unbelievable.

The thing about the WVU game is yes, we shouldn't have given up that many yards but they did throw the ball 63 times and we forced 2 INTs and some fumbles on the pass plays so it played to our advantage. We wanted them to throw on us.
