To all the Bama trolls: Lets talk about last years matchup. You guys want to toss stats around left and right but dont want to discuss how you were completely out coached and dominated last year, especially in the 4th quarter when conditioning and heart made the difference. Beat in the beginning by skill, and dominated late by heart & depth. Or we can compare the only two teams we have both faced: Florida & Tennesse This notion that Alabama's rushing attack is light years ahead of LSU's Against Tenn. Alabama rushed for 143 yards LSU rushed for 237 yards Against Florida Alabama rushed for 226 yards LSU rushed for 238 yards hmmmm........
Well would you like to bring up how many teams have had over 400 yards on each team? Also we gave up almost 100 yards less against UT and only like 9 more against UF with all their players in gainesville. Not trying to start anything but just spewing facts like you.
Wait, when did this happen? Surely, you gest. You do realize that he's accounted for 5 total turnovers this year, including 2 INTs, which is only 1 less than Claiborne, whom you readily acknowledge as being badass, don't you? And that's not even addressing the obvious logical flaw in saying "the unit that includes X is great, but not because of X", which implicitly states that they're great in spite of him. Are you beginning to realize how ridiculous that statement is?
This is why I'm through with entertaining the thought that LSU is going to have to play "lights out" to win ... or that the stars are going to have to align for LSU to win, ... like we will have to play like we've never played before, in order to beat Bama. Bama is just another team. There is absolutely nothing special about them. If LSU goes out and plays LSU football, preps well, as they have done for other games, .. and execute well, as they have in other games ... then this game is going to be .... JUST LIKE OTHER GAMES. The ONLY difference I can see in this game .. is that LSU may not be able to bring out the 3 and 4th stringers in the 4th quarter..... big emphasis on "may not". ... as I"m not so certain that this is going to be a super close game. I'm thinking we continue our winning streak by double digits.
He plays close to the line and blitzes and all that jazz and is hyped up by everyone, but he is just a good corner. Claiborne is great. Just saying for someone who openly talks stuff like he does, he is not a true shut down like a PP or Claiborne tends to be.
Lets only compare as close to apples to apples as we can. All other 6 games are irrelevant, especially because we beat more ranked teams and played way tougher competition ON THE ROAD in primetime, HENCE THE #1 Ranking So go ahead, dissect the Florida & Tennessee matchups have at it pal
You are preaching to the choir. We play our backup backups most of the second halves in every game this year. We have dominated every team that we have faced. We are preparing just like we do for every other one. NO Change necessary.
Oregon is pretty good...WVU is a joke. Syracuse!!!!! ha ha. Seriously I give you the Oregon game. Who else?
I do believe he forced the 1st turnover in the game against Alabama last year, batting Elroys pass in the air causing the pick by K-Shep. I think Bama fans Fear the Badger as they Fear the Hat now.
Oregon alone was acomplishing more than Bama has ALL YEAR, Id like to see you guys nut up and go play two ranked non-conference games on the road. Just another Bama fan shaking in his boots and is attempting to gain some secure feelings heading into the matchup. Biggest game of the year for the gumps, just another satuday on the schedule for the Tigers!
