Remember the Oregon fans and ALL THOSE STATS that they kept jawing about! Tappy, talk football, don’t make comparisons that are not apples to apples. These two teams have faced two completely different schedules, different teams, different venues, different environments, different circumstances – PERIOD

And you know, All Stats and Rankings go out the window when two teams like this line up. By blabbing all these stats to justify Bama’s strength just shows your insecurity about this game.

LSU has played in much BIGGER games, in BIGGER spotlights, overcoming much more adversity. We KNOW LSU will not be distracted by the hype, we know LSU will not come out scared or flat. I am sensing a lot of fear from Bama fans about this game. More than usual, and I know it’s because they truly know in their heart of hearts whether they like it or not, that LSU is proven this year.

All the jawing about Richardson, sounds just like LMJ from Oregon fans, if Tennessee can shut both of those 2 down for a half, we will shut them down for the whole GAME, one down, one to go

    Bingo! :thumb:

They act as if TR is the hand of God. Wrong, he is just a darn good running back who will probably have an average to below average day against us.

Sorry dude,lol....But Roman Harper is kicking butt...well never mind.

Ryan had like 150 tackles in one year for Houston, guy was a tackling machine...are you kicking him to the curb already?

Speaking of going off subject..what do you think of Ben Tate?

Comments like this really damage your credibility.

As great as Upshaw & Hightower are, I see them getting planted by the likes of Stampley & Copeland a few times. Can they stop a 280lb man running full-speed directly at them? Doubtful. This will open up the run game for us. I would posit that our fullbacks are THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY, and there isn't a lot that you can to do stop them. Granted, bama is more well-equipped to face them than any other team in the country, but containment is the best you can hope for.

Highly subjective comment, but we shut down another one whose fans bestowed that title upon him in our first game of the year. This defense AIN'T afraid of Rent.

Bull. LSU's RBs generally have enormous holes through which to run, and often against a defense that is stacking the box. Our RB corp is more about power than breakaway speed. Spencer Ware trucks OVER safeties when he could just as easily go around them, so we don't stack up the yards on big plays. The only exception to this is Michael Ford, who is averaging 5.7ypc on 79 rushes.

Really? Like who? Tennessee? Oh, wait, that was bama.

Means little. Claiborne is so badass that they very rarely even throw towards him. When they do, it does not end well. So he hasn't gotten to showcase his abilities more than a few times this year. AJ may give you an opportunity to see what Mo is all about.

Yep, Mark Barron. . .the guy that Jordan Jefferson & Ruben Randle ABUSED last year. I honestly can't wait to see this guy on the field Nov. 5th. :thumb:

What gets me is how some of the dolts in the media .. figure in SABAN!

I mean .. please .. Saban is going to be a non-factor! He's the coach, sure, but he absolutely no impact on the "execution" in the game.

And again .. I don't view Saban as any advantage over CLM. In fact, I think Saban is the King with no clothes. He's got great talent on his team, he runs a conservative game plan. There's nothing magic about him per se with this regards.

And I still say, Bama's offense is more of a one trick pony, compared to LSU.

The question remains ... can Bama win without T.Richardson?? I don't think they can. They'd be just like the Barn without Scam Newton.

On the otherhand .. can LSU win without Ware .. YEP .. without one of JLee or Jefferson .. YEP .. without RR .. YEP .. without Ford, Blue or Hilliard ... YEP .. without ODB .... YEP ... without TM7 .... or Simon .. YEP .. without Lonergan ... YEP

YEP YEP YEP ....... the YEPS just keep comming, because, LSU has NO superstars .. they are just a dang GREAT team.
