When and where did I say that?

Like I said you missed the point.

john, when one person questions someone you admire like les miles you either ask them if they have ever been a coach forty million times or you just post a thousand records from previous head coaches.

if someone said that about you the response would be so long and vicious im afraid no one would have the time or energy to ever get through the material.

So you like it should be legal to protest the President, but that we should all heavily frown on it? Why not just make it illegal?

And you still don't get it.

I will spell it out for you. It isn't about protesting the President, BTW he is the Former President. It is about the manner in which some of those protestors have chosen to protest. The hatred for a man that served this country, at the highest level. Not the protest, itself, the hatred in some of the signs and displays. The same message can be heard without the display of hate.

I'm not a moderator on here. If I was, I wouldn't use my moderator priveleges to give infractions to people for talking smack about Les. If I was a moderator on here, and someone started hurling personal attacks or me or another member, I'd warn them to attack the points raised, not the person raising the points--but that's because the user agreement here prohibits that. Our Constitution does not prohibit us from protesting the President.

Which of those signs would you make illegal? Would you like laws making it illegal to call the President a liar, or a fool, or the worst president ever, or a war criminal, or a disaster, or a nitwit, or a thief?

If a newspaper published a letter from a reader in the Op/Ed section that called our President those things, you think we should make that illegal?

Once again you have missed the point. Nowhere have I said that any of it should be illegal. I stated that as Americans we should be more respectful.

Again you have belabored an issue to the point of redundancy.

I don't get why you are complaining about something that you think should be legal.

How many people are offended by this:

W's job ratings in Jan 2009: 61% to 68% disapprove

Clinton's job ratings in Jan 2001: 29% to 33% disapprove

Is that offensive to you that so many people "hate" George Bush?

That says disapprove, and does not indicate hate. What offends me is ignorance. Hate is a sign of ignorance. And ignorance stems from failure to understand. Enough said.
